The Lake Padden Park features several trails, most notably is the primary loop which wraps around the lake itself. This 2.6 mile loop is an easy hike with several minor hills and compacted gravel as a surface. On warm summer days you’ll find swimmers using some of the multiple lake access points along the route.

The lake itself has a boat launch for non-motorized or electric motors only, and at times has a small kiosk available for kayak and stand-up board rentals. There are a few fishing docks, multipurpose fields, an outdoor basketball court, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a golf course, an off-leash dog park (with a separate fenced off area for small dogs), picnic tables, BBQ grills, ample parking, and restrooms.

The park itself is open from 6am to 10pm daily. On holidays, or particularly hot weekends, this park can fill up quite quickly and sometimes remains busy and active until sundown. It appears to be a popular place for college students to congregate as well.
